Hi Internet People,
Okay, I must be really worn out because my throat is super scratchy and gross. I think I caught a bug from my dad, he sounds worse than I do. My plan for the rest of this week is to try and get some sleep, though I do have to work still. Today I work 10:45 – 5, but after that I think I’m just going to relax, and watch Scream at 10. I’ll still film a video after, but I’m going to have lots of cough drops on hand and I’ll drink some tea to help me out.
Wednesday I have the day off so that day I am going to do a lot of sleeping and relaxing. I have some shows I want to binge watch lined up so that’ll be fun. I’ll also film a video on Wednesday to go up on Thursday. I think I have an idea for my Fangirl Freakouts video, I just have to do a little bit of prep work. I’ve been throwing around some ideas recently and I did mention a video idea in my Wynonna Earp one.
I’m really tired while I write this so that’s about it for today. I’ll be online for Scream and I think I’ll spend some time noodling around after work. I hope you have a lovely day!

I’ve had a few very longs days in a row, and while they have been fun, I am very tired. I didn’t realize how tired I was until yesterday while I was out with my family. It was my brother and sister’s birthday, they’re twins in case you were curious, and we all went to Cincinnati to see a baseball game and do a few other things. To get to the 1 pm game and watch the pregame ceremony where they retired Pete Rose’s number we had to leave our house around 8:30 am. As soon as we got on the road I fell asleep. I didn’t wake up at all until we got to Cincinnati. It was really hot, which was making me pretty tired. I don’t really handle being in the heat very well. Surprisingly the Reds were in the lead early on, normally when we go they lose, and during the 8th inning I started dozing off. I slept through most of the inning, but I did watch all of the 9th.
Then when we headed to dinner I fell asleep again and after dinner I fell asleep during the short drive to Ikea. After Ikea I fell asleep again, if I had sat down for an extended period of time at the store I totally would have fallen asleep there too, and woke up when we stopped at a McDonald’s before my brother’s baseball game. That was the other reason we were in Cincinnati. He is on a team that plays there on random Sundays. His game was super late and didn’t start until 8:45 so when we got to the game I was struggling to keep my eyes open. I made it through some of it, but totally fell asleep with my head on my knees during the 7th inning. They were losing so it wasn’t really an issue. I slept until the 9th inning and once the game was over I fell back asleep as we made our way home.
I did stay up a bit after we got home, I really needed to shower and wanted to watch Preacher before I hit the hay. I don’t work until about 4:30 today so I’m planning on sleeping in pretty late. I do need to do some stuff before work, but it’s fun stuff that has to do with something I got in the mail.

This week I’ve had some fun family stuff going on and I thought I would share what I’ve been up to. On Thursday my brother, sister, and I decided to go on a road trip. It wasn’t a huge trip, but we went on a drive out of the state. We’ve never gone on a trip just the three of us before and it was really fun.
My sister suggested that we go to a zoo and we decided to go to the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo. We hadn’t been there in a really long time and honestly our family doesn’t go to zoos very often. We spent about three hours walking around and doing some fun extra stuff. My brother and sister fed a giraffe and all three of us got to touch stingrays. We also saw some baby animals and some fighting sea lions. The baby animals were so cute! There was an orangutan, a little monkey, and some kangaroos. We also happened to come around what we think was dinner time because a lot of the animals were napping or waiting for food. There was a hyena completely passed out using a rock for a pillow. We each got a little stingray toy at the gift shop, they were 99 cents so totally worth it.
After the zoo we went to Red Robin and did some very quick looking around the mall. At Red Robin I had a super random burger. They had one with ramen noodle buns and I decided to try it. It’s wasn’t the best burger ever, but hey I never would have known if I didn’t try it. Then we went to Target and just wandered around for a little bit. After that we grabbed Starbucks for the road and headed back home.
Today we’re going to a Cincinnati Reds game for my brother and sister’s birthday, they’re twins and my brother had to be in Cincinnati for a tournament in the evening so baseball game in the same city it is. I’m not sure what else we are doing, but the game starts at 1 and we’ll grab dinner after that. We’ll also be staying for my brother’s game so I am packing a bunch of books. I’m sorry, but I just can’t handle that much baseball in a day. It’ll still be fun and I think I’m in charge of buying my brother nachos in a helmet.

Well, this Thursday is going to be a very busy day indeed. Now oddly enough it isn’t because I have to work. Every Thursday I make sure to have a Fangirl Freakouts video uploaded so that’s going to be happening, but that’s not why it’s going to be so busy. I love making those videos so no matter how busy I am it’ll be up. The reason Thursday is so busy is because I have not one, but two things going on. I know that doesn’t sound like a lot, but these two things are going to involve some prepping.
Thursday, very early in the morning, I have an interview. This is a big deal interview too, like such a big deal I went out and bought a brand new skirt suit and nylons for it. Yeah, big deal stuff happening really early. I have to make sure to wow, even though I’ll probably be tired. After that I am totally going to need a nap, I have a feeling I won’t sleep super well the night before. I’ve been having trouble falling asleep at normal times because I’ve been working a lot of night shifts at work. It screws up my sleep cycle, but I will still be bright eyed and bushy tailed.
Before I knew about the interview I had already made reservations to go see a musical with a friend of mine. Yes, reservations. They aren’t doing actual tickets, you had to request seats and then mail them a check. It was an interesting set up for a musical. A new theater group is performing Cabaret and I know a few people in the cast so I thought it’d be a fun time. My friend and I are going to get sort of dressed up and make a night of it. We have bar side seating so hopefully we don’t have any issues watching the show. This Thursday just has a lot going on.
